DMCA & Copyright Policy

Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE — TO BE SET WHEN PUBLISHED]

CINNEX respects copyright and expects the same from everyone who uploads content to the platform. This page explains how to report infringing content, how creators can respond to a claim, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly.

1. Designated DMCA Agent

CINNEX's designated agent for copyright notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, is: [AGENT NAME] — [AGENT EMAIL] — [AGENT MAILING ADDRESS]. [PLACEHOLDER — replace once your DMCA agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is complete. Notices sent to any other address or method may not be legally effective.]

2. How to Submit a Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to CINNEX without authorization, send a written notice to our designated agent above that includes:

(1) Your physical or electronic signature. (2) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. (3) Identification of the specific material on CINNEX you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a link or content title is ideal). (4) Your contact information — address, phone number, email. (5) A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. (6) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

You can also flag a specific title directly from its player using the Report → Copyright option, which notifies our team immediately — but a legally sufficient written notice to our designated agent is required before we're obligated to act under the DMCA specifically.

3. What Happens After a Valid Notice

We remove or disable access to the reported content, notify the creator who uploaded it, and provide them a copy of the notice (with your contact information, as required by law) so they can file a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was made in error.

4. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notification to our designated agent including:

(1) Your physical or electronic signature. (2) Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal. (3) A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification. (4) Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., an appropriate judicial district) and that you'll accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Unless the original claimant files a lawsuit seeking a court order against you, we may restore the content in 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

CINNEX terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of creators who are subject to repeated valid copyright infringement notices. What counts as "repeated" is evaluated case by case, considering the number and severity of valid notices.

6. False Claims

Submitting a knowingly false takedown notice or counter-notification can expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including costs and attorneys' fees. Please be sure of your claim before submitting.
